Alex Lobulu, VOM's lead producer and songwriter, has been nominated as Top 5 Best Audio Producer by the Maranatha Awards Tanzania (M.A.TA). The final voting for Best Producer is underway and will be announced at the Gala Event in Nairobi Kenya.

Alex's keen skills have been the result of a labor-of-love. Self-taught, he has defied odds in pursuing a career that is often under-valued and under-paid. Alex studies techniques online, mentors under other professionals and by sheer self-determination he learns the ropes.
Jessey Jansen, Founder of VOM, first met Alex in 2012 at Fnouk Studio in Arusha. Alex was the sound engineer for the debut album with Remiti choir. The two go all the way back to the start of VOM and Jessey values Alex as part of the integral team. Now in their fourth edition, the Maranatha Awards are designed to acknowledge authentic biblical worship music and to honor exceptional individuals from around the globe. This year’s Maranatha Global Worship Music Awards (MGWMAs) will be held at the Nairobi Safari Club Motel, Lilian Towers Nairobi, Kenya, on 24th of November 2019.
